Health check ups and treatments can be scary or confusing if you don’t know what to expect. The Say Less, Show More health program made photo stories that explain common health care experiences.
The photo stories use pictures and simple language to show what it is like to:
A doctor that you see when you need a health check
A CT scan is a medical test that takes a detailed picture of the inside of your body using a special machine.
An x-ray is a medical test that uses a special machine to take pictures of the inside of your body, like your bones.
An ultrasound is a medical test that uses sound waves to make pictures of the inside of your body.
